Scope

Digital technologies hold great opportunities to make processes more efficient and thereby more sustainable. Resources can be used in a better way and unnecessary waste can be avoided.

Requirements

The goal of the project was to provide a plattform that connectes sender and deliverer for small packages in the private sector. It should be possible to easily send a parcel or find parcels that can be deliviered in a certain area.

Solution

The mobile app that was developed allows to quickly register and become a part of a large community. With a geo-based search, a deliverer can quickly find relevant parcels nearby. The sender on the other hand can quickly find deliverers and track the delivery processes in real-time. The solution consists out of a hybrid app that can be used on smartphones and browsers. Moreover, there is also a highly scalable backend that also provides the possibility to cover future growth when the platform has many thousand users.
